Superintendent
searches for Boards of Education are coordinated though
the Western New York Educational Service Council. Secretarial
services, extensive candidate recruitment, credential
reviews and on-site consultation are provided for Boards
in their process for hiring a new school superintendent.
The Western
New York Educational Service Council contracted with
twenty-five school districts for recruitment and secretarial
services in the selection process of their new Superintendent
of Schools for the two year period 2004 and 2006. An
average of over 20 sets of credentials were reviewed
for each search before the school district's Board of
Education reached their final decision for a new Superintendent
of Schools.
